Push Ups for ALS

Students doing push-ups at the Push Ups for ALS event, April 8, 2026

Push Ups for ALS occurred on April 8, 2026, in memory of my dad, “Brother” Frank Albrecht, who did as many push ups as his age every day until the year he died at age 66. We raised $66,000+ for ALS research in his name.

Proceeds from Push Ups for ALS 2026 co-funded a grant to support Dr. Pietro Fratta on novel TDP-43 biomarkers through the Packard Center. Tune back to learn how we spent it to accelerate a cure for ALS.
